Frozen lines
After 12 years the miracle has happened again: Hundreds of thousands of ice-skaters have left their marks in frozen lines
The only thing that really unites the millions of individual, presumptuous clayfooted Netherlanders is ICE and SKATING
Only then we are one people, one stupid happy family, with nothing showing on our faces but dumb grins and nothing but niceties , everyone helpful to everyone, sharing blisters, peasoup, sauages, chocolate milk and knowing one thing : only when it is deep frozen we master the waters of our wetlands, the eternally threatening SWAMP.
Hail to master FROST!
